Thailand is famous for it’s silversmiths, who still handcraft beautiful pieces of silver jewelry in the traditional manner.

The northern Thailand area known as the “Golden Triangle” may well be called the “Silver Triangle”, for it is home to many Hill Tribe people who are true silver jewelry artisans. Unlike conventional jewelry makers, who use “sterling” silver, which is 92.5% silver, and 7.5% copper, the Hill Tribe folk prefer to use pure, or fine silver.

Like our handwoven silk, cotton and hemp products, the Hill Tribe silver jewelry pieces are all unique, no two items are alike, which means your necklace, bracelet on anklet is a “one of”, a true individual.

We deal directly with the jewelry makers, so we know the money we spend is added to the local economy, not some middleman’s pocket. Also we give them a very fair price for their wares.
